The optional tools make the job easier and more professional looking but are not necessary. If you don't have these tools check with your local tool rental company for availability.
*An electric impact wrench rents for about $30.00 a day. It will reduce your assembly time on average by 3-5 hours. The average size fort kit with swingbeam can be completed in a weekend (12-16 hours). You can purchase the tools from the tool list at any hardware store. We found all these tools and the lumber at our local do-it-yourself warehouse. They had all the required sizes in stock. Plus many of these warehouses can also cut and deliver your lumber for a fee. Check with lumber department about these costs before handing them your 'Lumber Purchase and Cut Sheet.' Occasionally they will make mistakes, not always, but be prepared to make another trip if you choose this option.
